What this service is
Import Export Code for cross-border trade. Delivered end-to-end by Bluman's Chartered Accountants with a fixed scope and a published price.
Who needs it
Businesses and individuals importing goods into India or exporting from India. An Importer Exporter Code is generally required to clear customs and to receive or make trade payments through banks.
What Bluman will do
- Confirm whether an IEC is needed for your activity and identify the correct applicant entity.
- Prepare the application with the entity, address, bank and signatory details as the DGFT portal requires.
- File the application on the DGFT portal with digital signature or Aadhaar authentication and obtain the IEC.
- Advise on the annual update requirement, since an IEC that is not updated each year can be deactivated.
