Service overview

What this service is

Employer registration under PF and ESI. Delivered end-to-end by Bluman's Chartered Accountants with a fixed scope and a published price.

Who needs it

Employers crossing the employee-count thresholds under the provident fund and employees' state insurance laws, and employers registering voluntarily because a client, tender or funding requirement demands it.

What Bluman will do

  • Assess applicability separately for PF and ESI, since the thresholds and the wage limits differ, and confirm the date from which coverage begins.
  • Compile the employee master with wages split into the components that determine contribution, which is where most later disputes arise.
  • File the employer registration on the EPFO and ESIC portals, including through the integrated MCA route for a newly incorporated company.
  • Generate employee UANs and ESIC insurance numbers, and set up the monthly contribution and return workflow.
  • Hand over the registration codes with a note on monthly due dates and record-keeping.

Key deliverables

  • EPFO establishment code and ESIC employer code
  • Employee UANs and insurance numbers generated
  • Monthly compliance calendar

Registration is generally completed within the stated turnaround once the employee master and digital signature are ready.

  • · Government fees, portal charges and applicable taxes are billed at actuals.
  • · Timelines start once complete documents and information are received.
  • · Outcomes that depend on a government authority cannot be guaranteed, but every step is tracked and communicated.

Forms and filings involved

  • EPFO employer registration

Establishment registration on the Shram Suvidha / EPFO portal.

  • ESIC employer registration (Form 01)

Employer registration under the ESI Act.

  • AGILE-PRO-S

Route through which EPFO and ESIC registration is obtained at incorporation for a new company.

Documents required

  • PAN and incorporation or registration documents of the employer
  • Address proof of the establishment
  • Employee list with date of joining, wages and identity details
  • Bank details and a cancelled cheque
  • Digital signature of the authorised signatory

What we need from you

  • Provide accurate wage structures and joining dates — backdated coverage creates arrears with damages.
  • Begin monthly contributions from the date coverage applies.

Important conditions

  • Registration is granted by EPFO and ESIC. Contributions, interest and damages are statutory and payable by you.
  • Monthly return filing is a separate ongoing service.
