Aadhaar, PAN, bank account and UAN KYC are verified before submission to reduce claim rejections and delays.

Online Claim Filing

The claim is filed on the EPFO member portal with the correct composite form and attachments, with acknowledgements shared.

Settlement Tracking

Claim status is monitored through to settlement, with follow-up on objections or rejections where applicable.

Service overview

What this service is

PF Withdrawal assistance covers the end-to-end process of withdrawing your Provident Fund balance — whether on retirement, resignation, medical, housing or education grounds. Bluman determines the withdrawal type you qualify for, prepares the composite or claim form, verifies KYC and bank details, files the claim online on the EPFO portal and tracks the settlement until the amount is credited.

Who needs it

Members who have left employment and want to withdraw or transfer their provident fund and pension balance, and serving members seeking a permitted advance for a purpose such as housing, illness or education.

What Bluman will do

  • Check UAN activation, KYC seeding of Aadhaar, PAN and bank details, and the employer's exit date marking, since a claim fails without these.
  • Establish the correct claim type — final settlement, pension withdrawal, transfer or advance — and the eligibility for the purpose claimed.
  • Explain the tax position, including where withdrawal before five years of continuous service is taxable and TDS applies.
  • Prepare and submit the online claim with the correct forms and supporting documents.
  • Track the claim, and where it is rejected, identify the reason and resubmit with the correction.

Key deliverables

  • Claim submitted online with the tracking reference
  • KYC and exit-date corrections completed where needed
  • Follow-up record until settlement or the reason for rejection

Claims are typically settled within a few weeks of a clean submission, but the EPFO controls processing. KYC or exit-date problems are the usual cause of delay.

  • · Government fees, portal charges and applicable taxes are billed at actuals.
  • · Timelines start once complete documents and information are received.
  • · Outcomes that depend on a government authority cannot be guaranteed, but every step is tracked and communicated.

Forms and filings involved

  • Form 19

Final settlement of the provident fund balance.

  • Form 10C

Withdrawal benefit or scheme certificate under the pension scheme.

  • Form 31

Partial withdrawal or advance for a permitted purpose.

  • Form 13

Transfer of the balance to the current employer's account.

  • Form 15G / 15H

Declaration to avoid tax deduction where income is below the taxable limit and the conditions are met.

Documents required

  • UAN and registered mobile number
  • Aadhaar, PAN and bank account details seeded in the member portal
  • Date of exit from the previous employer
  • Cancelled cheque with the member's name printed
  • Purpose evidence, for an advance claim

What we need from you

  • Get the employer to mark the date of exit if it is missing.
  • Keep the mobile number linked to Aadhaar active for OTP verification.
  • Ensure the bank account is in the member's own name.

Important conditions

  • Settlement is decided and paid by the EPFO; the amount and timing cannot be guaranteed.
  • Employer-side defaults such as unpaid contributions must be resolved by the employer.
  • Grievance escalation and appeals are handled separately.

Frequently asked questions

When can I withdraw my PF?

Withdrawal eligibility depends on the reason — retirement, resignation (after a waiting period), illness, housing, education or marriage. The applicable condition is assessed before the claim is filed.

What documents do I need?

UAN, Aadhaar, PAN, bank account details and, for partial withdrawals, proof supporting the reason (e.g. medical certificate, property documents). KYC seeding on the UAN is verified first.

How long does a PF withdrawal take?

Once a correctly completed claim is submitted, EPFO typically processes it within a few working days to a couple of weeks. Settlement status is tracked and any objection is flagged for follow-up.

Will the withdrawal definitely be approved?

No outcome can be guaranteed. Approval and timing are decided by EPFO. Bluman assists with eligibility assessment, form preparation, KYC verification and claim submission.
